…. and Ballinrobe Town Hall will showcase this talent, and that of all the boys and girls of our community, when it gets built.

Not only are they a talented bunch of children, but community minded also.

Just before Christmas, the 54 girls and boys of Second Class in St Joseph’s Primary School, together with their families and teachers, raised €623 for Ballinrobe Town Hall.

The Christmas-themed evening provided further compelling evidence of the need for a Town Hall – a place where we can sing, play musical instruments, recite poetry and exhibit artwork,  as the children did so beautifully and competently.

Under the guidance of local artist Angela Emsen-West, the children produced beautiful artwork which was auctioned on the night and Angela kindly donated some beautiful artworks for the raffle also. Ballinrobe Town Hall committee would like to thank the staff of St Joseph’s, the children and their families, and Angela who gave of her time so willingly.
